Everyone knows as Vrindavan
in the district of Mathura, Eighty five miles southeast of Delhi. Many devotees
still linger there in bliss in search Radha and Krishna and known about the
childhood activities. It does not mean devotee's meet Radha and Krishna face to
face in land but they can feel the mastery.
Actually, if someone goes to
vrindavan, he will immediately perceive separation from Krishna. In a holy
place like vrindavana if someone get the chance to hear from pure devotees then
the cultivation of Radha and Krishna consciousness becomes very easy.
Every day of the year is a
festival in Vrindavan, To name a few Krishna janmashtami, Radha ashtami,
Shivratri, Holi, Guru Purnima, Diwali, Makar Sankranti. Festivals last for
days, weeks and even a month or more in vrindavan.
Today is Makar Sankranti.
Makar Sankranti is one of the most encouraging day for the Hindus. Lots of
people take a dip in place like Ganga & Yamuna and pray to Lord Sun.
In the vast majority of the
country, Makar Sankranti festival will be celebrated on the 14th of January,
but the festival of khichdi festival in Kanha Nagari Vrindavan. According to Hindi Calendar, Khichadi festival in
Vrindavan starts from Dvadasi itself. The Thakur service is in the childhood in
the sapta Deities, therefore it is tried that "Lala" does not seem to
be cold in any way.

Vrindavan, said that a large khichdi festival is organized every year from
Paush Amavasya to Magh Amavasys points out that in reality, khichdi festival
was started by Harivansh Mahaprabhu.
